Using 3D scanning & printing, CNC routing, and hand wood carving I created a fully working puppet of myself. I then worked with the artist Alexander Guy who painted my portrait onto the carved wooden puppet head. The result is an uncanny object which demonstrates my continued interest in the double. This work also questions my own ‘self-concept’.
